KISMAT KONNECTION sees a worldwide 900 screens…

After scoring a hattrick with Jodhaa Akbar, Race & Aamir, UTV Motion Pictures is all set to release its fourth Hindi film of 2008 on July 18th, the Shahid Kapoor & Vidya Balan’s romantic comedy ‘Kismat Konnection’, a Tips Production, distributed by UTV Motion Pictures worldwide. The film will open across 720 screens in India & 200 in the overseas market worldwide which include UK, USA, Middle East, Australia amongst others including Pakistan, which will also have a day & date release. 

The biggest ever release for a Shahid Kapoor film, ‘Kismat Konnection’, premièred in Dubai at the Grand Cineplex yesterday, where Shahid, Vidya Balan and Director Aziz Mirza connected with the audience in the desert city.

‘Kismat Konnection’ is a story about Raj Malhotra (Shahid Kapoor) who is still struggling to find that One Chance to showcase his mettle, the quirky oracle, Hasina Bano Jaan (Juhi Chawla) and Priya (Vidya Balan) who he discovers is his lucky charm. But Priya not only has had unpleasant encounters with Raj before she is also opposed to the very project that he desperately wants to work on… his ambitious dream project
